Nazeer Ahmed, also known as Rank Nazeer, is an Indian Muslim scholar, politician, historian, and translator. He is recognized as the founder-author of the Encyclopedia of Islamic History. Previously, he was a member of the Indian National Congress and served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly in Karnataka. Additionally, he was part of the Karnataka Knowledge Commission, contributing to the educational and scholarly environment of the state.
