He moved to Jamaica at the age of six and became well-known for hosting television shows, appearing in films, and collaborating with Louise Bennett. He is honored at the National Heroes Park in Kingston, Jamaica, and the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre, which includes an amphitheatre and a garden theatre named after him.
