He served as the founding editor of Dhabak, a prominent Gujarati ghazal journal. He completed his Ph.D. and authored several significant works, including 'Saat Suka Pandada' (1993), 'Ghazal Nu Pariprekshya' (1995), 'Thes' (1998), and 'Adhakhula Dhwar' (1999). In recognition of his contributions to Gujarati ghazal poetry, he was awarded the Shayda Award by the Indian National Theater, Mumbai in 2003.
