Alcino Correia Ferreira, known as Ratinho, was a Portuguese composer born on March 5, 1948, in Armamar, Portugal. He moved to Rio de Janeiro at the age of four. He was renowned for his contributions to samba, having composed famous songs like 'Coração em Desalinho' and 'Vai Vadiar', which were popularized by Zeca Pagodinho. A member of the Caprichosos de Pilares samba school, he won seven samba-enredo competitions. Ratinho passed away on October 10, 2010, after suffering a stroke.
