Rattan Singh Ajnala, born on January 16, 1944, is a notable Indian politician who served as a member of the 15th Lok Sabha representing Khadoor Sahib in Punjab. He previously represented Tarn Taran in the 14th Lok Sabha and held the position of member in the Punjab Legislative Assembly for four terms from Ajnala Assembly Constituency. A former member of the Shiromani Akali Dal, he later founded Shiromani Akali Dal (Taksali) after his expulsion from SAD in 2018. He and his son rejoined SAD in early 2020 but returned to Taksali shortly after.
