Rauf Aderemi Olaniyan is a Nigerian politician, civil engineer, and farmer born on February 25, 1960. He served as the deputy governor of Oyo State from 2019 until his impeachment in 2022 due to misconduct allegations. Elected alongside Seyi Makinde, he often represented the governor on state matters. Olaniyan is also a businessman, acting as the managing director of WestMidland Construction Company and the chairman and CEO of BlueLine Construction Services in Ibadan. He hails from Igboho, Oyo State, from the family of late Pa Adeleke Olaniyan.
