He is the founder of Security and Intelligence Services, a private security firm operating in India and Australia. Sinha, a graduate in Political Science and Law, began his career as a journalist. In 2014, he was elected to the Rajya Sabha as a Member of Parliament representing Bihar for the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP). He was cleared of any legal issues mentioned in the 'Paradise Papers' investigation.
