Ray Krone is an American wrongfully convicted of murder, known as the 100th inmate exonerated from death row in the United States since 1976. He spent 10 years in prison, including two on death row, after being convicted in 1992 for the murder of bartender Kim Ancona in Phoenix, Arizona. DNA evidence exonerated him in 2002, leading him to become an advocate for the abolition of the death penalty. Krone has received financial settlements and is involved in various media projects detailing his story.
