Rayasam Seshagiri Rao (1909-1963) was an Indian politician, poet, and advocate, who represented the Nandyal constituency in the 1st Lok Sabha as an independent candidate after winning the 1952 elections. He held a Bachelor’s degree in law and served as president of the Bar Association, an adviser to the Land Mortgage Bank, and secretary of the Rayalaseema Maha Sabha. Rao published several works, including poetry and a book on astrology, and received the title of Kavi Shekhara for his contributions to literature.
