Reed Whiting is an American downhill ice skater born on March 20, 1980, in Rochester, Minnesota. He achieved his best overall ranking of sixth place in the Red Bull Crashed Ice series during the 2014 season and secured a fifth-place finish in the Saint Paul competition in the same year. Before his skating career, Whiting played hockey as a defenseman, competing at the NCAA level until he retired from hockey in 2004. He began his downhill skating career in 2013 and stands 188 cm tall and weighs 93 kg.
