He began playing hockey at the age of 7 and was part of prominent clubs in Argentina before moving to Portugal in 2001 where he achieved significant success with FC Porto. He also played for Hockey Club Liceo and FC Barcelona. Internationally, he represents Argentina, winning the 2008 Copa América and finishing as a runner-up in the men's world championships in 2005 and 2009.
