Rémi Quirion is a Canadian scientist born on January 9, 1955, in Lac-Drolet, Quebec. He made significant contributions to the field of psychiatry and served as a Professor at McGill University. Quirion obtained his Ph.D. from the Université de Sherbrooke in 1980. He holds the distinction of being the first Chief Scientist of Quebec and has also been the Scientific Director of the Douglas Hospital Research Centre, reflecting his leadership in scientific research and innovation in the province.
