Remy Amador Presas (December 19, 1936 - August 28, 2001) was a Filipino martial artist and the founder of Modern Arnis. He started learning Arnis at the age of six and devoted himself to martial arts as a teenager, eventually founding a gym that attracted hundreds of students. He was influential in promoting Arnis as a respected martial art alongside judo, karate, and kung fu. Presas served as a vice president of the Philippine Arnis Association and was black belt ranked in judo and karate. His legacy continues through his family and students.
