Reny de Oliveira is a retired Brazilian actress, best known for her role as Emília in the children's television show 'Sítio do Picapau Amarelo'. She began her career in theater, portraying Helen Keller in 'O Milagre de Anne Sullivan' in 1967. Despite attempts to diversify her career, she eventually resigned from acting due to her strong association with the Emília character. After moving to Canada in 2006, she received a master's degree in psychology and psychoanalysis and now coordinates the Shiatsu Therapy Center while volunteering with the Toronto Symphony Committee.
