Reunald Jones Sr. (1910–1989) was an American jazz trumpeter primarily known for his work in big bands and as a session musician. He studied at the Michigan Conservatory and played in various territory bands before moving to New York during the Great Depression. He worked with notable orchestras including Count Basie, where he gained recognition as lead trumpeter. Jones was also part of Quincy Jones's group, The Jones Boys, and collaborated with numerous artists. In the later years, he became less active in music as a performer.
