Throughout the 1970s, she distinguished herself by interpreting works by Manuel Sánchez Acosta and won various national and international singing competitions. Her performances have taken her across various countries including Venezuela, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Puerto Rico, France, Spain, the USA, and several Middle Eastern countries. She received critical acclaim for her rendition of Manuel de Falla's 'Siete canciones populares españolas' with the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional.
