Maria Teuntje "Ria" van Velsen, born on May 18, 1939, is a retired Dutch artistic gymnast who competed in the 1960 Summer Olympics. She participated in all events, achieving her best result of 14th place in the team all-around competitions. Notably, she is not related to fellow Dutch swimmer Ria van Velsen, who also competed at the same games. After her marriage to Thijs Rietveld in 1961, she was frequently referred to as Ria Rietveld.
