Richard Bleaden Bradford was an English clergyman, born on January 12, 1913, and died on January 4, 1980. He served as Archdeacon of Carlisle from 1970 to 1978 and was appointed Honorary Chaplain to the Queen in 1973. Bradford was educated at the London School of Economics and the College of the Resurrection, and he was ordained in 1937. His significant roles included being the Vicar of two churches and a Residentiary Canon at Carlisle Cathedral before his retirement in 1978.
