After the war, Jefferies transitioned to the business world, working in the movie theatre sector and later becoming managing director of AMF Bowling Australia. He owned and managed several bowling and roller skating venues in Queensland and New South Wales, contributing to the entertainment industry until his passing on October 9, 2013.
