Richard Alan Parker, born on March 20, 1963, is a former American Major League Baseball outfielder who played for six seasons from 1990 to 1996. He played for teams including the San Francisco Giants, Houston Astros, New York Mets, and Los Angeles Dodgers. Parker's professional career spanned 14 seasons, beginning in 1985. He was initially drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies but made his MLB debut with the Giants. Throughout his career, he was known as a journeyman player, finishing with the Norfolk Tides in the Mets organization.
