Rick Priestley is a former game designer from Lincoln, England, known for his foundational work with Games Workshop. He was one of the original designers of the Warhammer tabletop game and the primary author of the first edition of Warhammer 40,000. Throughout his career, he contributed as the main or secondary author for various rulebooks and fictional works related to these iconic games. Until his departure in November 2010, Priestley also regularly wrote for the magazine White Dwarf, making him one of the most recognized figures in the company.
