Richard Wilson Stockstill, born on December 23, 1957, is an American college football coach currently working as an analyst at Florida State, his alma mater. He served as the head coach at Middle Tennessee from 2006 to 2023 and played as a quarterback for Florida State under coach Bobby Bowden from 1977 to 1981. Stockstill was hired as the 14th head coach of the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders on December 12, 2005.
