Rigmor Loge Borthen (1923–1986) was a Norwegian author known for her contributions to literature, which included articles and fiction published in various newspapers and magazines. She gained recognition with her short story 'Et fnugg i Kosmos' in 1966 and published her debut novel 'Grensegang' in 1972. Alongside her writing, she balanced a career and family life after establishing residency in Asker in 1950. Borthen also created radio plays, including 'Veis ende'. Her personal life included two marriages, the first being short-lived.
