Catharina Maria (Riny) van der Bie-van Vliet was a Dutch politician from the PvdA party. She was a member of the Delft city council from 1982 and served as an alderman before becoming the mayor of Moordrecht in April 1996. In July 2003, a violent incident involving a firebomb at her residence led her to take medical leave, after which she never returned to her role. She was officially retired in March 2006 and passed away in July 2016 at the age of 68.
