Risa Saraswati is an Indonesian singer and songwriter of Sudanese descent, born on February 24, 1985. She was a former lead singer and a founding member of the Indonesian band Homogenic, now known as HMGNC. In 2009, she left the band to form a new group named Sarasvati. Additionally, she wrote her first book, Danur, in 2012, which has been adapted into three films.
