Rita Engebretsen (born 1957) is a Norwegian guitarist and vocalist best known for being the female singer on the 'Frem fra Glemselen' albums alongside Helge Borglund. This series, consisting of 22 volumes, began in 1974 and sold over 1.8 million copies, making it Norway's best-selling album series. Besides her work on these albums, she has released two solo albums and performed on various compilation albums. After a brief hiatus, she resumed performing in 2015, collaborating with Tommy Michaelsen, and released a concluding album in 2017.
