Rita Loel (December 29, 1966 – September 6, 2012) was an Estonian journalist known for her work at the newspaper Saarte Hääl and contributions to Harjumaa. She was active in community service, serving as the chairwoman of the Naiskodukaitse Saaremaa district from 1994 to 1995 and again starting in 2006, as well as the chairwoman of the Harju district from 1996 to 2001. A member of the Isamaa and Res Publica Union since March 21, 2003, Loel was influential in her local political scene.
