Ritu Karidhal is an Indian scientist associated with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). She served as the Deputy Director of the Mars Orbiter Mission (Mangalyaan) team. Known as India's rocket woman, she was born in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh and spent her early life there. An aerospace engineer, she has also worked on various ISRO projects, serving in director roles on some. Ritu plays a significant role in India's space exploration efforts.
