Ritva Mustonen, also known as Ritva Anneli Mustonen-Laurila, born on July 10, 1940, in Turku, is a Finnish music teacher and schlager singer. She gained recognition from a schlager competition, leading to her first recording, a translated song 'Hän sanoi' in 1958. Noteworthy recordings include 'Merimies kotimaasi on meri', 'Kuusamon kotka', and 'Jumala rakastaa maailmaa'. Between 1960-62, she recorded eight songs by Toivo Kärki and Reino Helismaa, totaling around 60 recordings. Mustonen performed as a soloist for various bands and was married to guitarist Heikki Laurila, with whom she has a daughter, Mari Laurila.
