H. Riza Falepi is an Indonesian businessman, technocrat, and politician from the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) who served as the Mayor of Payakumbuh for two terms from 2012 to 2022. He was a member of the Indonesian Regional Representatives Council (DPD-RI) from 2009 to 2012. He was born in Payakumbuh, West Sumatra on June 17, 1970. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (S1) degree in Electrical Engineering from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) and a Master of Engineering (S2) degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Faculty of Industrial Technology, ITB. He started his career as an R&D Engineer at PT Compact Microwave Indonesia (CMI), Bandung. He then worked as a Project Manager at PT CMI, Bandung. He later worked as a System Engineer (Business Development) at PT Intidaya Sistelindomitra (Globalstar Indonesia) Jakarta. He also worked as a Telecommunication Engineer (Systems Engineer) in Bandung. He has been a Private Entrepreneur in ICT/Joint Businesses since 2001. He was the General Manager of Operations at PT Aldomaru from 2005 to 2005. He was the Manager of IBS at PT Indonesian Tower from December 2006 to January 2008. He worked as a Business Development Manager from February 2008 to April 2009. He has been the Owner of Arp Co. Business Group since 2009. He joined the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) in 2000. He was elected as a member of the DPD-RI from West Sumatra in 2009. He was elected as the Mayor of Payakumbuh in 2012 and re-elected in 2017.
