Roald Linaker, born on February 18, 1959, is a notable Norwegian politician and military chaplain. He has served as the ombudsman for the Norwegian Armed Forces since January 1, 2014. He was the mayor of Bardu municipality from 1999 to 2003 and is currently a member of the Troms County Council, where he leads the Education Committee. Additionally, Linaker has held leadership positions in local sports and energy companies, and gained public recognition by winning a quiz show on NRK in 2011.
