Born in Kingswinford, he helped form the band in 1986, contributing to hit singles and albums. After leaving The Wonder Stuff in 1989, he moved to New York, where he formed a new band with his wife. His life ended prematurely at 29, amidst various reports concerning the cause of death, which include heart issues and drug-related factors. His remains were cremated, and ashes scattered at notable locations.
