Robert B. Wilson is an American economist and university professor born on May 16, 1937, in Geneva, Nebraska. He is a member of the National Academy of Sciences and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. In 2020, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences, sharing this honor with his Stanford University colleague Paul Milgrom.
