He was famous for creating and designing iconic cartoon characters such as Popeye and Daffy Duck, and revitalizing the design of Bugs Bunny. His career spanned from the 1930s until 2001, during which he worked for prominent studios including Walt Disney, Warner Bros. Cartoons, Hanna-Barbera, and DePatie-Freleng Enterprises. He collaborated closely with director Chuck Jones across various production companies.
