Robert D. Briskman (born October 15, 1932) is a prominent Technical Executive at Sirius XM Radio, having served as CTO and Executive VP of Engineering at Sirius Satellite Radio since its founding in 1991. He has played a vital role in mobile satellite radio services and communication satellite systems, developing key technologies like low-cost satellite receiving terminals and a patented space and time diversity technology. Briskman launched three Sirius satellites in 2000 and was honored as a member of the National Academy of Engineering in 2014 for his contributions.
