Robert F. Milligan is a retired lieutenant general in the United States Marine Corps, notably serving as Commander of the Pacific Fleet Marine Force. He graduated from the United States Naval Academy and retired from the Marine Corps in 1991. Following his military career, Milligan took on various roles, including Comptroller of Florida from 1994 to 2002 and director of the Department of Veterans Affairs. He is an alumnus of Matawan Regional High School, which inducted him into its hall of fame in 1997.
