Sir Robert Henry Gervase Fulton KBE was the Governor of Gibraltar from 2006 to 2009 and previously served as a Lieutenant-General in the Royal Marines. He was educated at Eton College and graduated with a BA in Social Sciences from the University of East Anglia. Fulton joined the Royal Marines in 1972, was promoted to Captain in 1979, and became Commander of the Royal Marines in 1998. He was knighted in 2005 and serves as King of Arms of the Order of the British Empire since 2015.
