Robert George John Francis Fossett, known as Jacko Fossett, was an English clown famous for his performances as Jacko the Clown. He worked for 30 years alongside partner Little Billy Merchant, becoming a staple of the European circus circuit and the Belle Vue Christmas Circus. With various animal partners, including the boxing kangaroo, Syd, he was recognized for his contributions to traditional clowning. In 2000, he received a Lifetime Achievement Award. Fossett's career included a brief appearance in The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus. He passed away suddenly in 2004.
