Robert Taylor Halliday (born 7 May 1932) is a notable Anglican priest who made significant contributions in the later part of the 20th century. He was educated at the High School of Glasgow and the University of Glasgow, earning both a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Divinity. Halliday was ordained in 1958 and served curacies at various churches before being the Rector of the Church of the Holy Cross for two decades. Later, he became a Lecturer in Biblical Studies and was appointed Bishop of Brechin in 1990, retiring in 1997.
