Robert Leighton is an American cartoonist, writer, artist, and humorist who resides in New York City. He is known for his contributions to The New Yorker and other publications. In 1996, he co-founded Puzzability, a company dedicated to puzzle creation. Leighton has also coauthored numerous puzzle books and Op-Ed pieces for The New York Times, explaining that puzzles, like cartoons, share a similar structure involving setup and resolution.
