Sir Robert Malpas (1927-2023) was a prominent British engineer and businessman known for his extensive career at ICI, where he served as Chairman of ICI Europa Ltd and was a board member. He later became managing director of BP, Chairman of PowerGen and the Cookson Group, and co-chairman of Eurotunnel. In 2018, Malpas was seriously injured in an attack at Marble Arch station, with the assailant sentencing life imprisonment in 2019.
