Robert Sylvester Alston is an American serial killer born on May 19, 1969. He committed multiple heinous crimes, raping and murdering at least four women in Greensboro, North Carolina between 1991 and 1993. Following the murders, he dismembered their bodies and buried them in various locations. Alston attempted to mislead investigators by making anonymous phone calls regarding the crimes, likely seeking media attention. In 1998, he pleaded guilty to all charges and was sentenced to multiple life terms in prison.
