Robert van der Kroft, born on April 1, 1952, in Haarlem, is a notable Dutch comics artist, musician, and disc jockey. He has been illustrating the comic strip Sjors & Sjimmie since 1977 and Claire since 1988. In addition to his contributions to other comics and commercial art, he co-founded the Dutch comics magazines De Vrije Balloen in 1975 and Zone 5300 in 1994. Since 2016, he has also been actively involved in promoting the Cross Comix Festival in Rotterdam.
