Born on March 31, 1955, in Charlotte, Michigan, he distinguished himself in both basketball and football at Charlotte High School. He played college football at Western Michigan University, earning first-team All-Mid-American Conference honors. Drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in 1977, he later played for the Chicago Bears. After his football career, Moore worked as a mortgage broker and sadly passed away at the age of 52 in 2007, reportedly from a heart attack.
