Francis 'Rocco' Prestia was an American bassist born on March 7, 1951, in Sonora, California, and passed away on September 29, 2020. He was a prominent member of the funk and soul band Tower of Power from its inception in 1968. Rocco released a solo album titled 'Everybody on the Bus' in 1999, and developed a unique 'finger-style funk' technique. He also produced a film demonstrating this style, featuring the entire Tower of Power band, titled 'Fingerstyle Funk'. He was featured on the cover of Bass Player Magazine in December 1997.
