Rodney Lee Achter is an American football coach and former player, born on February 14, 1961. He played college football at the University of Toledo from 1979 to 1982 and was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in 1983. He had brief tenures with the New York Jets and Cincinnati Bengals, and played for the Ottawa Rough Riders in the CFL. Achter began his coaching career in 1985 at Cardinal Stritch High School and currently serves as the Defensive Coordinator at Sylvania Northview High School.
