Rod Kenyon (June 1945 – 8 December 2013) was a notable figure in the energy sector, serving as Human Resources Director at British Gas and directing the British Gas Engineering Academy. He played a key role in the Apprenticeship Ambassadors Network and was involved with several educational and charitable organizations. Kenyon was recognized for his contributions to the industry with an OBE in 2005. His political career included candidacies for the Social Democrats in the 1983 and 1987 General Elections. He passed away at the age of 68.
