Rodney M. Feldmann is an American geologist and paleontologist, born on November 19, 1939, in Steele. He attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of North Dakota, earning his bachelor's, master's, and PhD in paleontology. Feldmann held various academic positions at Kent State University, becoming a professor in 1975 and later an emeritus professor in 2001. He is known for his work on invertebrate paleontology, especially crustaceans, and has conducted research in Antarctica. In 1993, he served as president of the Paleontological Society.
