He played college football at Yale and was drafted by the Colts in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Thomas had a successful rookie season, recording 52 tackles, six passes defensed, and four interceptions. He became the Colts starting strong safety in 2023 and finished the season with 34 tackles, four passes defensed, and two interceptions.
