Roelof Christiaan Jongelie was a Dutch SOE agent involved in Plan Holland, parachuting into the Netherlands in 1942 to gather intelligence and connect with political parties and the intelligence service. However, he was arrested shortly after landing and became a victim of the Englandspiel, ultimately being executed at Mauthausen concentration camp on September 7, 1944. He used several aliases during his missions and posthumously received the Bronzen Kruis for his efforts.
